Design and Implementation of Hybrid PV/Battery-Based Improved Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converter-Fed Hybrid Electric Vehicle

In order to enhance the power transformation stage’s transfer capabilities and efficiency, in this article, improved three-port two step-up single-ended primary-inductor converters (SEPIC) converter fed (Photovoltaic )PV- Hybrid Electric Vehicle was proposed. comparison standard single-stage SEPIC, proposed accepts a wider range of input voltages. The uses multiple-winding high-frequency transformer (HFT) integrate dual sources provide greater voltage gain with lesser elements. Furthermore, by predicting drive torque need, management algorithm (PMA) included PV-hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) minimizes motor’s consumption. An experimental model output 6 kW 12 600 volts has been created tested. designed 94.11% efficiency.
